A BODY of a missing girl from Boitekong Township in Rustenburg was discovered on Friday. North West police spokesperson, Lieutenant Col Amanda Funani said the body of Khumo Lebakeng, 21 was found in the dam in the area.
“We have opened a case of inquest and no one has been arrested so far. The body of a girl was recovered after she went missing. We cannot confirm nor deny if she was killed. We will wait for postmortem results,” Funani said.
According to information, the deceased went missing few days before her body was discovered. Police investigation is underway.
