A 23-YEAR-OLD man was sentenced to fifteen years after rape. Kenneth Makaudi raped a 23 year-old woman at Valam Boerdery Omdraai farm near Kakamas in January 16 last year.
Northern Cape police spokesperson, Lieutenant Col Dimakatso Mooi said: “The accused raped the victim and tied her with her own shoe lace after wards. He left her behind in the field.
“We commend Constable JC Mokgalagadi for securing 15 years imprisonment for the accused.”
