Dagga worth R800 000 found in Setlagole

A 47-YEAR-OLD man was busted for dealing in dagga on Friday evening in Setlagole village, near Vryburg.

North West police spokesperson, Col Sabata Mokgwabone said: “The suspect was arrest after the Vryburg K9 Unit and Crime Intelligence acted on a follow-up on information about dagga stashed inside a certain house in Setlagole village.”

Mokgwabone said the police found 12 bags containing dagga weighing 296 kilograms with estimated street value of R800 000.

He further added that the alleged dagga peddler is expected to appear in the Atamelang Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
