The Congress Of the People (COPE) is calling for the arrest of ANCYL leader Collen Maine, following reports that the government may be considering charges against Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema.

The Sunday Times reported that Minister of State Security David Mahlobo has now taken charge of government efforts to have EFF leader Julius Malema arrested for making “violent threats” against the state.
