THREE infants as well as three adults were injured in a collision that occurred on the N12 near Glenharvie. The collision involved a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle.

Er24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing said ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found people injured.

“Most of the injuries that were sustained ranged from minor to moderate save for one infant with critical injuries. The critically injured child was airlifted by ER24 to LenMed Hospital in Randfontein for further treatment. ER24 also transported two patients by road to the same hospital. The remaining patients were treated and transported by other medical services to various hospitals,” Bodasing said.

The cause of the collision remains unknown. Local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
