Polokwane – The bail application of a Limpopo father accused of slitting his four boys’ throats was postponed on Thursday to allow the State to call more witnesses.
Magistrate George Mokou granted a request by the State for a postponement in the Magatle Periodic Court, saying the court could only make a fair ruling after it had heard all the evidence.
Lesiba Kekana is accused of slitting the throats of his four children, aged 13, 10, 6 and 4, apparently after he had an argument with his wife.
He intends to plead not guilty even though the State says he confessed to the murders.
The matter was postponed to November 12.
