TAUNG young entrepreneurs gathered together at Majeng Guesthouse in Pudimoe village, near Taung to come up with plans of how to grow their businesses.
Cosmic Events and Marketing Events company Managing Director, Faith Edmunds said they organized the event to share ideas and come up with initiatives how to expand their businesses.
“We organized this together with Mafikeng Innovation Hub as we believe that true impact requires collective action. Our aim is to build collaborative innovative communities that continually engaged in sharing resources and transfer knowledge. Cosmic and MIH strength comes from the diversity of our members and the merriment of their unique inspired ideas and innovative ways of working and being united by their missions of sustainable positive impact.” Edmunds said.
Mahikeng Innovative Hub CEO Joe Ndaba said: “Business Mixer idea was to benefit local young people especially in Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati district. Our targets are the municipality entrepreneurs, cooperatives, SMMEs, non-profit organizations, and unemployed youth. We want to promote local economic sectors such as; domestic tourism, infrastructure development and agriculture as priority within the district. We provide participants with a platform to renew acquaintances with investors, both private and government to achieve and to expand the valuable networking chain.”
The networking sessions was aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and developing a platform for them to drive their businesses with the latest in business practices, management, finance and entrepreneurial practices and to give them a platform to network, offer products, services and sell their ideas to those who will be willing to give a hand.
