THE newly-elected ANCYL president Collen Maine allegedly rendered in his resignation letter as North West MEC for Local Government and Human Settlements.

According to our reliable source, Maine’s resignation as MEC was long overdue.

“I cannot confirm whether he handed in his resignation letter yet, but what I know is that, the matter was long overdue. He was suppose to resign last month, but the North West provincial government requested him to wait until they find a suitable replacement,” our mole said.

According to our source, Maine want to focus on his position as ANCYL president.

All those in powers could not confirm nor deny the rumours.

Maine could not be reached as his phone rang unanswered.

Unconfirmed report was that Maine handed in his resignation letter on Friday.
