TWO perished, three injured in a car accident on Monday between Ventersdorp and Coligny.

North West police spokesperson, Maj Pelonomi Makau said the driver of a white Tata Sedan, James Thambe lost control of his vehicle and veered of the road.

“The driver and the passengers were travelling from Mahikeng to Johannesburg when the accident occurred. Two deceased aged 12 and 22 respectively, were relatives to the driver. The car rolled several times and they died on the spot. The driver and other two passengers were taken to local hospital for medical attention,”

Makau said a culpable homicide case has been opened an investigation continues.
