A 23 year-old man was arrested by Northern Cape police recently in Phakamile Mabija Street next to N12. Lieutenant Donald Mdhluli said that the police were patrolling the area when they came across a man hitch-hiking.

“A search was conducted on a man, and 50 tablets were found in his possession. The suspects allegedly threw the tablets worth R7 500 at the nearby house. Police called for back-up and he was subsequently arrested. The suspect was charged for being in possession of suspected drugs and he is expected to appear before Kimberley Magistrate’s soon.”
