BRITS- A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death in Oukasie, Phase 3 in Brits.  

According to the information, the suspect was with the deceased, Jerry Mokgatlhe at a local tavern on Saturday at around 10:00am when an argument ensued between them. 

North West police spokesperson sergeant Kealeboga Molale said later the deceased went to the suspect’s house to confront him about the earlier argument.  “The round 2 fight ensued and the suspect allegedly stabbed Mokgatlhe in his neck with a knife,” she said.

Police were called to the scene and the suspect was arrested.

Molale said the suspect will appear at the Brits Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
