If we are to roll-out Setsokotsane as conceptualised, we would have no problem of service delivery, says North West premier Supra Mahumapelo.

Bokone Bophirima Premier Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of ordinary people and address the triple challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality through Setsokotsane.

Premier Mahumapelo was in Wolmaranstadt early this morning to meet with the Setsokotsane task-team and brief the political leadership in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality about Setsokotsane as a new approach aimed at fast-tracking the delivery of government services to communities.

Mahumapelo said Setsokotsane is very distinct from other related programmes that are being applied elsewhere due to its holistic approach to challenges facing communities, adding that if applied correctly there will be no problem with service delivery.

“I have not gone overseas because there is too much work to do here. I have chosen to stay here and attend to problems that are confronting the masses on the ground,” said Premier Mahumapelo who has been very hands on with the programme..before going to interact with the local church leaders.
