A 41 year-old  female jogger was seriously injured after she was struck by a car while running in a race in Boksburg this morning. Exact detail is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the jogger lying on the roadway  with very serious injuries.

After they stabilised the seriously wounded scene  female, and deftly immobilised her on a trauma board, they airlifted the patient to a specialised facility for the care that she required.
