TAUNG- North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Education, Arts, Culture and Traditional Affairs  will hold a meeting with the Department of Education and Sports Development to discuss a report of the challenges found during the school visits the committee conducted at the beginning of the year.

The meeting will be held at Taung Hotel School and Convention Centre at 14h00. 

Amongst challenges found was; shortage of water and lack of electricity for months; shortage of teachers; blockage of toilets which forced teachers and learners to help themselves in dangerous bushes, and lack of scholar transport and infrastructure.
