THE family of Segwabe was left dejected following the untimely death of their son, Kleinjan Segwabe on Tuesday.

Kleinjan Segwabe(34) was knocked down by a speeding car in Mokgareng village, near Taung.

It is alleged that Kleinjan was crossing the busy road in Mokgareng when he met his untimely death.

Kleinjan’s brother,  Shadrack Gaonakala(54) said they expected a lot from Kleinjan as he was still young, but death inflicted severe pain in their hearts.

“Our hearts are torn apart because of what happened to our beloved brother. We expected a lot from him because he was still young” Shadrack outlines.

The family plead that the humps need to be instilled on that deadly road before the community loses all its people.

North West police spokeswoman sergeant Kelebogile Moleko confirmed that the police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.

“We can confirm that a case of culpable homicide was opened at Taung Magistrates Court after a 34 year-old man was allegedly knocked down by a car at Mokgareng village in Taung. Police investigations continue” Moleko said.
