TAUNG- NORTH West Department of Education and Sport is mourning the death of one of their brightest teachers, Kehilwe Oseile who was found hanged on Tuesday at Mammutla village near Pampierstad.
According departmental spokesperson Brian Setswambung, said the department is dispirited because they expected more from Oseile.
“We as the department we would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Oseile’s family after the death of their daughter. We believe the family will find serenity into this” Setswambung said.
North West police spokesperson sergeant Kelebogile Moleko said a 33 year-old woman was registered as a missing person after she allegedly left her house on Sunday night.
“The community went on a head-hunt searching for Kehilwe Oseile and she was found hanged in the veld on Tuesday. A case of inquest was opened at Kgomotso police station and investigations continue” Moleko said.
Oseile was a teacher at Mammutla primary school and started this year at the school.
“Oseile started at the Mammutla primary school at the beginning of this year and we expected a lot from her, but it is very unfortunate for the pupils at the school to lose their teacher in this manner” Setswambung concluded.
