President Jacob Zuma has on Saturday arrived in Khartoum, Sudan for a working visit, the Presidency said.
“President Jacob Zuma has this evening … arrived in Khartoum, in the Republic of Sudan for a working visit aimed at enhancing relations between South Africa and Sudan,” the Presidency said in a statement.
On Sunday, Zuma would hold discussions with the President of Sudan, Omar Al-Bashir.
“The two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries as well as socio-economic development and peace and security issues on the Continent.”
Zuma was accompanied by International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane.
