Taung- A 39 year-old man briefly appeared before Taung Magistrate Court on Wednesday after he was arrested for rape.
Tshepo Lekgolo,39, who is a male nurse at Taung Station clinic, was arrested after he allegedly raped a patient at his workplace.
According to Martha Mongale statement, she went to the clinic for medical attention after she experienced abdominal pains.
Lekgolo allegedly ordered the patient to undress so that he can examine her.
According to Mongale statement, Lekgolo touched her punani and inserted his fingers in her vagina.
He allegedly made sexual advances towards her and told her that, he feels inclined to her as her punani looks attractive.
Mongale,44, apparently refused to sleep with Lekgolo, but he nevertheless forced himself on her.
Lekgolo was granted a R1000 bail after he tabled his reasons not to be denied bail.
A 39-year-old married suspect was ordered not to interfere with witnesses or the victim.
Lekgolo, whose wife is currently pregnant, smiled and breathed a ‘sigh of relief’ after he was released.
After realizing that our cameras were on the shooting mode, he covered his face with a brown leather jacket to hid from a raving eye of the media.
Lekgolo who looked confused like dinosaurs fleeing Juriseen Park, was whiskered away into a car by family members.
The case was postponed until 09 December 2014.
Police investigation continues.
