Kimberley Cluster FCS Unit investigate a case of rape after a 27-year-old woman was raped on the 30th August 2014.

The victim alleges that together with her female friend they visited a certain pub in the Kimberley city centre, while they were inside the pub they were approached by two unknown male persons and they enjoyed drinks together with them.

These unknown men bought alcohol for the victim and her friend.

“At about mid-night the victim and her friend proposed to be taken home, and these men offered them a lift home. They drove away from the pub into a vehicle with the NW registration number plates. The victim’s friend was dropped at Phutanang, and instead of taking the victim home they drove to a house in town” lieutenant Sergio Kock said.

The next morning when the victim woke up from the town house she discovered that she was undressed and raped.

“These men were driving a vehicle with the NW registration number plates; they are between the ages of 30 and 40. Both of them are black in complexion, 1.6 and 1.8 metres tall, stocky and medium built respectively” Kock said.
