Swartruggens- Police are investigating a case of business robbery after four male suspects robbed the complainant on Saturday at approximately 02:00am at Mazista near Swartruggens.
“It is alleged that the complainant was asleep when the suspects gained entrance through the roof and hit the complainant with an iron bar. The complainant was allegedly forced to hand the tuck-shop key to the suspects who opened and took cigarettes and grocery to the value of R2000” colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said.
The suspects were traced and one of them aged 30 was eventually arrested.
He is due to appear in Swartruggens Magistrates Court soon.
