The need to unlock tourism potential in the province formed the core of deliberations shared during a public lecture held at the North West University Mahikeng Campus this week.

It was held by the provincial tourism department in partnership with Khaya Cool International Radio.

Tourism MEC, Desbo Mohono said there was a need to improve the growth of a tourism economy in the province through encouraging people to take pride in their rich heritage, hidden gems and start visiting and promoting them.
