Reivilo- Five people were taken to Taung hospital after a Quatum that they were travelling in capsized on Monday, North West police said.

A Quantum carrying 13 passengers including a six year-old baby, overturned in Reivilo.

According to our eyewitness, the driver lost control of the vehicle after approaching a T-junction.

“A taxi with a trailer overturned at Reivilo T-junction and was heading to Upington. Five passengers were taken to Taung hospital for medical attention” police said.

Paramedics were called and some of the passengers suffered minor injuries including the driver.
Police investigations continue.-TDN
