Molapisi to launch Kgetleng Community Safety Forum


Kgetleng- North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Gaoage Molapisi is expected to call on Kgetleng communities to work closely with police and all relevant stakeholders in crime prevention and take charge of all safety issues within their area.

MEC Molapisi will be officially launching the Kgetleng Community Safety Forum at the Reagile Community Hall in the Kgetleng-River Local Municipality.

“The CSF facilitates the delivery of a multi-sectoral government approach on safety in communities. The forum’s approach is broader than that of the Community Policing Forums in that it includes the responses from all the departments in the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security cluster” departmental spokesperson Daddy Sebolecwe said.

The forum will be launched under the government strategic objective on crime prevention that says “All people in South Africa are and feel safe”.
