Twins arrested for Rustenburg crimes


Twin brothers from Zimbabwe, accused of committing a string of crimes in the Rustenburg area, have been arrested, North West police said on Tuesday.

The first twin was arrested on September 11 while the second was  arrested on Tuesday, said Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone.    

“The pair was sought for a spate of crimes including housebreakings, business burglaries and robberies,” said Mokgwabone.
 
The first twin faced six charges for crimes committed in Mogwase, Phokeng and Sun City.

This included three housebreakings, a business burglary, common robbery and malicious damage to property.

The second twin faced charges related to three residential burglaries.

The pair were expected to appear in court soon.
