Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba has hinted at the possibility that Senzo Meyiwa may take over the national team captaincy on a permanent basis from Itumeleng Khune.

Meyiwa was appointed interim skipper for the recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan and Nigeria in Khune’s injury-enforced absence.
