The well-known Marimba Ensemble band in Kimberley, which was established in 2000, is making international headway with their traditional marimba music.

The ensemble has travelled as far as Mexico, Spain, and Portugal. In February this year, the band was privileged to be chosen to represent South Africa at the World Tourism Exhibition Week in Turkey. In their 14 years of existence, the seven band members are still working together.
