Taung- North West police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death in Lokgabeng village, near Taung.

Alvina Kebareng Pholo,38 was found with stabbing wounds at her home.

Police said a boyfriend who was staying with Pholo went to inform the deceased’ sister that she had collapsed. The sister of the deceased rushed to the scene and found her with stabbing wounds.

The atrocity took place on Wednesday at around 22:00 and ambulance was called. According to information, the boyfriend and Pholo were allegedly engaged in an argument during the day over the child’s grant.

“The paramedics arrieved at the scene and tried to revive her, but she was confirmed dead” our mole.

The boyfriend disguised that he want to smoke outside and fled the scene.

The boyfriend is still at large and a case of murder has been launched.
