Rustenburg-Police are investigating a case of house robbery where an 81 year-old woman was allegedly raped by unknown suspect on Thursday at about 10:00 in her residential place in the Rustenburg CBD.

 

“It is alleged that a suspect dressed in an orange overall entered the victim’s house and threatened the old woman with a knife before raping her. The suspect then demanded money from the victim” brigadier Thulani Ngubane said. 

 

She was robbed an undisclosed amount of cash and her bank cards. 

 

Ngubane said the suspect demanded the victim’s bank cards Personal Identification Number( PIN).  

 

He fled the scene and is not yet arrested.-TDN
