North West MEC for Social Development Collen Maine is set to handover school uniform to destitute learners at Piet Plessis Primary School on the reopening day of schools, his office said.

“Today when the schools re-open, MEC Maine will handover school uniform to 25 learners whose living conditions were assess by the department towards the end last year and found to be needy,” departmental spokesman Vuyisile Ngesi said.
  
The handover ceremony will be held as follows:-

Maine will be accompanied by the Executive Mayor of Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati, mayor of Naledi and Kagisano Molopo local municipalities.-TDN
