Ottosdal-The fight against drug trafficking scored another success when the police in Ottosdal arrested two male suspects aged 32 and 36 respectively for possession of dagga.

The incident happened on Friday at approximately 15:45 along Vryburg- Ottosdal road. 

“It is alleged that police officials were conducting routine stop and search operation when they stopped a Hyundai car that had two occupants” colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said.

He said police allegedly searched car and found two black plastic bags containing dagga.  Both men were arrested and they are expected to appear in Ottosdal Magistrates’ Court soon.

“The dagga weighs 64kg with estimated street value of R54 000,00” he concludes.-TDN
