
Uefa president Michel Platini says if something isn’t done to address the issue of match-fixing soon, it could spiral out of control and ‘end football’.
The practice has been around for years, and last week England became the latest country affected when two men from Hastings in East Sussex were arrested.
Platini says if the problem isn’t addressed son, it could be too late.
“This is a problem that attacks football because if a result is rigged before the match is played, our sport is over,” Platini told AS.
