If Jabu Mahlangu makes a playing return at SuperSport United, he will join a list of other PSL comeback boys which include Mark Anderson, Andre Arendse and Bruce Grobbelaar.

At the moment the former Kaizer Chiefs player is employed as a SuperSport ambassador, with coach Cavin Johnson stating on record that he soft spot for the 33-year-old.

Mahlangu made his professional debut for Chiefs in a 4-1 win over AmaZulu in 1999. In the same season, he made his Bafana Bafana debut and went on to represent the Under-23s at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
