Carltonville-Police arrested a 20-year-old suspect for allegedly raping an 18-year-old victim on Saturday at about 04:00 in Phelandaba in Sannieshof.
The victim was allegedly walking along the street together with her friends coming from a tavern when they met up with the suspect, North West police said.
“It is alleged that the suspect grabbed and dragged the victim to his residential place where he allegedly raped her” sergeant Kelebogile Moiloa said.
They said suspect allegedly threatened to kill the victim if she tells anyone.
The suspect was later arrested and investigation continues.-TDN
