Mmabatho-A man appeared before Kagisano-Molopo Regional Court on Friday for murder and rape.

Solomon “Hammer-man” Moleko briefly appeared in court after more than 10 cases of attack allegedly from this man.

Moleko allegedly carried out this heinous crimes in Mahikeng and its surroundings. He allegedly killed and raped Sassa Manye,15,at Extention 39 and threw her naked body in the veld.

He was allegedly arrested weeks ago and was ‘dubbed’ hammer-man after he robbed unsuspecting residents using his trademark.

Moleko was utterly odious as he left his victims sprawling on the ground pleading for mercy after the ordeal. He allegedly robbed them their cellphones and other belongings.

The case was postponed to 02 December 2013 for formal bail application.-TDN
