Rustenburg-Economic Freedom Fighters Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema addressed the residents of Rustenburg where most were striking mine workers.

Malema told the masses that having political freedom without being ecomomically free,is crestfallen.

“Back in 1994, you voted for economic freedom and fought against things you did not want. During apartheid era,you fought against match-boxes (small RDP houses), now you receive them from ANC-led government and they expect you to clap hands” Malema told masses.

He said the people must contemplate this matter and vote for Economic Freedom.

EFF said the white minority still owns the land. He said the disdainfully amongst rich and poor must be narrowed. 

“If you have the land you own economy. South Africans must not learn to be only workers. They must own the land and become economically free.” Malema said.

One of striking miners said they support EFF 100% because they care for people on the ground.-TDN
