Hartbeespoort Dam-North West police arrested a 30 year-old suspect for house robbery at Orange Farm squatter camp on Saturday.
Police a man was allegedly asleep with his girlfriend when they were woken by a knock at the door.
“A victim allegedly asked who is the person at the door, but without saying a word, the suspect allegedly kicked the door opened” sergeant Kelebogile Moiloa said.
Moliloa said a 30 year-old suspect threatened victim with an unknown object and robbed them undisclosed amount of cash and cellphone before he fled the scene.
The suspect was allegedly arrested after a man-haunt and will appear at Hartbeespoort Magistrate Court soon.-TDN
