Durban – Twenty people were injured when part of a floor collapsed at a church in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday morning, paramedics said.

“A section of the top floor collapsed,” ER24 said in a statement.

Twenty people were treated for mild and moderate injuries at the scene on Old Main Road, Edendale, and were later taken to hospital.

“The cause of the structural collapse is yet to be determined,” ER24 said.
