Cape Town – The driver of the bus which crashed on the Koue Bokkeveld Mountains told his employers the vehicle’s brakes had failed before the vehicle veered off the road.

The vehicle was transporting employees of Tractionel Enterprise, a Joburg electrical company, to Lambert’s Bay when it went off the road on the Katbakkies Pass near Ceres.
