SuperSport United came back from a goal down to beat 10-man Free State Stars 4-1 in their opening game of the ABSA Premiership season.

Mongezi Bobe had put Ea Lla Koto ahead in the 10th minute but Soriola Gege would be sent off later in the half, allowing SuperSport to take control. Mame Niang equalised from the spot just before the break while Bennett Chenene struck four minutes after the interval.
