Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has insisted the club won’t go ‘crazy’ in the transfer market ahead of the new season.
Motaung says the club is aware that “agents are selling players through our name” but according to ‘Bobsteak’, Chiefs are only desperate to bolster their defence.
“Currently, we are definitely looking at beefing up at the back. We are doing it with caution. We are doing it properly, not hastily. The season starts in August and we have time,” Motaung affirms.
“We will be making one or two more signings, but we won’t do it out of emotion or excitement because everyone is in the market. We will take our time to do proper assessments,” he adds.
Amakhosi have so far made two signings in Knowledge Musona and Simphiwe Mtsweni.
