Johannesburg – A warder at the Kgosi Mampuru Central prison in Pretoria was arrested on Wednesday for smuggling drugs into the prison, Gauteng police said.
He allegedly had 49 sachets of nyaope in his possession, Lt-Col Katlego Mogale said.
He would appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday on a charge of possession of drugs. – Sapa
