MOOINOOI-Police in Mooinooi near Brits have opened a case of House Robbery after five unknown suspects entered the house of a 67 year-old man and his wife at Bokfontein plot.
The suspects allegedly threatened them with knives and firearms.
“It is alleged that the suspects robbed them of their two cell phones, jewellery, the wife’s handbag with an Identity Document and their Passports in, an undisclosed amount of cash and a rifle” captain Pelonomi Makau said.
According to the information, the suspects assaulted the old man and tied his wife with a cloth.
“Police are appealing to anybody who can assist in the arrest of the suspects to alert the Mooinoi police on 014 574 3222” Makau said.
Police investigation continues.
