Krugersdorp-Gauteng-based newly-opened Westside Fm obtain a service of one of the finest radio personalities ever came out of Taung, North West.
Former Vaaltar FM Top Dj Tshokollo ” Mr TM” Maine joins Kagiso-based station.
Maine is so thrilled after taking a break from radio.
MR TM as Tshokollo is affectinately known to his followers, said he is thrilled by given this opportunity.
“I am so delighted for being back on air after some time. I will be presenting a breakfast show at Westside Fm and it will be a helluva of a show” said Tshokollo Maine.
Maine was subsequently given a boot by Taung-based community radio station Vaaltar FM after effrontery.
Maine said even though he grew up without that ambitions of being a radio personality one day, his fans kept him captivated and after he scrutinised a situtation, he decided to go back behind the mic.
“Truly when i grew up, it was not my aim to be a radio personnel but since given a platform by Vaaltar FM Management to a showcase my talent, i followed the path” he giggles.
Maine said joining Westside Fm is not a downgrade to him as many people thought.
He said even Westside Fm is new, but the ambitions and objectives are there.
MR TM will present a breakfast show at Westside Fm 103.5.
“I actually started there three weeks ago and i came home because they broke into my house in Taung, so i had to come and fix other things”
“My fans can now catch me on Westside Fm 103.5 where we changing mindset” said Maine.
Maine maneuver his way back to radio after he was fired at Vaaltar Fm for alleged ill-discipline.
He said those who supported him through thick and thin, really appreciate their support.
TM said coming to Johannesburg is a big breakthrough as the city known for unearthening talents.
