Pampierstad-Northern Cape police arrested six suspects in connection of business robbery and murder.
The incident took place yesterday when six suspectes entered a tuck-shop belonging to a foreign national at Baipei section near Pampierstad.
“Police arrested six suspects including a minor for business robbery and murder. A 15 year-old boy was released under the care of his parents” Lieutenant Sergio Kock said.
He said suspects were robbing a tuck-shop and a neighbour heard a noise and allegedly came to investigate.
“Isaac Pico, 28 was allegedly shot dead in a head after an argument ensued between him and robbers” Kock said.
Police retrieved a firearm used during robbery and arrested suspects.
“Suspects will appear at Pampierstad Magistrate Court for murder, being in possession of firearm and ammunitions and robbery.
It is suspects stole R1200, groceries and airtime vouchers.
