DELAREYVILLE-Police arrested four suspects after been accused of stealing a Merino sheep to the value of R1500 at about 16:45pm.
“According to the information, a 29 year-old farmer from Doornbult farm in Delareyville allegedly realised on Thursday morning that his merino sheep was missing” police said.
“After checking it at the grazing field, he went to his employee’s residential place and looked through the window and allegedly saw his sheep already being slaughtered and hanging from the roof of the house” captain Pelonomi Makau said.
Police were summoned to the scene and suspects were arrested.
Suspects will appear on Monday at Delareyville Magistrate’s Court on charges of theft.
