Department of Environmental Affairs spokesperson, Albi Modise, says it may look like they are losing the war against rhino poaching but they will win the battle.
Speaking on SAFM AM Live with Xolani Gwala, Modise said they are working hard to fight rhino poaching and are discussing with other countries who are involved to stop poaching South African rhinos.
The number of rhinos poached in South Africa since the beginning of the year has increased to 249. The Department of Environmental Affairs says the Kruger National Park remains the hardest hit. Last week, the number of poached rhinos increased from a 167 to a 180.
