Mmabatho- A 25-year-old accused was sentenced to eight years imprisonment on 17 April 2013 by Mmabatho Regional Court for rape. 

“On 15 January 2013 the victim was asleep at her residential place at Magogoe Village when the door was allegedly forcefully opened” captain Aafje Botma said.

“The suspect entered the room of a victim and forced himself on a victim after threatening her. He was also declared unfit to possess a firearm” Botma said.
