Angie Motshekga lauds ANCWL Nwest

Rustenburg-ANCWL North West elected new executive committe during the weend in Rustenburg.

This comes after the party disbanded the original committe back then because of some unrest within the party.

African National Congress Women’s League president Angie Motshekga lauds the commitments shown by the party in the province.

“We are very grateful to see commitments shown by the ANCWL in the province. It is totally opposite of what we saw in Potchefstroom during the conference” Angie Motshekga told Sabc.

Five members where elected with other additional members being added to re-shuffle the leadership.

According to Motshekga, the committe’s mandate is to make sure the party mobilise more young warriors to join the ANC towards 2014 national elections.

“The party’s mandate is to mobilise more youths to join the revolution and to concentrate on other issues like sourge of rape against women and children” she adds.

South Africa has been “labeled” as World’s capital city of rape according to more rapes experienced in the country.
