Four people killed and three critically injured in a head on collision between a white Toyota Raider Bakkie and a brown Toyota sedan on Monday 18:30 police said. The accident happened between Windsorton and Barkly Road.
“Three occupants of a brown Toyota sedan were declared dead on the scene and the fourth one died at the hospital” Lieutenant Olebogeng Tawana said.
The name of the deceased are George Mongale(71), Rebecca Keadimile Botake(54) and Diah Rhama Botake(53).
The fourth deceased is an African female, unidentified.
“We request any person with the information that may lead to trace the family of the deceased to contact Windsorton police on 053 5510 003 or W/O CM Brandt on 082 4695 715” said Tawana.
The white Toyota Raider bakkie was having three occupants, William Magazi, Sheila Sekgoro and David Van Wyk, and they were transported to the hospital to receive medical treatment after they sustained injuries.
“During the investigation two bottles of liquor was found inside the Toyota Raider bakkie, therefore it is suspected that liquor consumption could have played a critical role during the accident.
