A man arrested for alleged stolen vehicle in North West

A 39 year old Tanzanian Citizen was arrested on Wednesday  for suspected stolen vehicle North West police said. According to information, members at the Ramatlabama Port of Entry  were on duty at about 14:30 at the searching point  when a Silver Grey Toyota Hilux with a false registration number approached the searching point.

“The police members who were conducting a search and circulated the vehicle with the chassis number” colonel Emelda Setlhako said.

“It was discovered that it is sought in a theft of motor vehicle case that was registered in Rustenburg” police said.

“The driver of the vehicle was arrested and detained at Nietverdiend Police Station” police said.

A case of possession of suspected stolen vehicle was registered.

The suspect is expected to appear  before the Lehurutshe Magistrate Court tomorrow and investigation continues.
